    A Few Computer Forensics Fbi Terms & Definitions


    • Attachments – Any file type associate with or attached to an email.

    • Chain of Evidence -- From collection to being in court, a clear line of accountability to eliminate the possibility of contamination.

    • Application – Utilized by most computer users, applications include software programs, such as word processing and spreadsheets.

    • Bandwidth – The quantity of information that can be sent over a network in a certain amount of time.
